Unfortunately we have to announce that the coronavirus (COVID-19) has delayed factories in Asia, Europe and temporarily in Finland as well. The situation is also causing delays in cargo shipments within Europe, further causing delays in shipments of imported materials. The above mentioned reasons can have an effect on the shipping schedules of all our products.

The unforeseen and unexpected situation is preventing our company from providing services and delivering materials according to our normal schedule. The corona virus situation is a phenomenon we have no way to control. Therefore it can be deemed that the effects of the corona virus pandemic have caused Kespet Oy a force majeure situation, releasing Kespet Oy from responsibilities included in our contracts as far as the cause is a direct result of the corona virus and it’s effects.

A force majeure situation is one in which a party cannot fulfill their responsibilities regarding a contract or an agreement, due to external and unexpected, exceptional circumstances and reasons. Due to this, Kespet Oy takes no responsibility for delays and possible expenses they may cause. Due to the rapid development of the whole situation, announcements regarding the changes in our delivery times and schedules can be announced in a sudden manner, effective immediately.

We strive to guarantee customer satisfaction here at Kespet Oy, using all possible means to avoid any delays in this exceptional situation. We are actively monitoring the latest developments and we aim to let our customers know about product shortages as quickly as possible.
